Installation Step:
- Download and extract Fieldtype “Smart Number Field”
- Move Field Type in your website’s addons directory:
EX: - /system/user/addons/ [for system Files] - Go to Control Panel > Developer > Add-Ons
- Click ‘install’ on Smart Number Field.

The Smart Number Field is an ExpressionEngine field type add-on that allows users to get the numbers. It receives the text input field with only numbers and doesn’t allow any characters. The Smart Number Field module is also compatible with third-party add-ons.
The smart number field type add-on revolves around numbers. The Smart number field type add-on has both functionalities that work in the backend and frontend. It is easy to use and compatible with Channel entry, Grid, Fluid, and Relationship fields.
The Number Input field is single-lined that allows you to enter a number. Additionally, it shows up and down arrows enabling you to change the value as provided by the HTML number input rendered in the browser.
ExpressionEngine stores information in channels. The channel entries tag retrieves and displays your WordPress website’s content. The channel entries tag is used with Templates to show the content Admins create and edit via your Control Panel’s section. The Smart Number Field add-on is compatible with channel entries tag that can display content from categories, specific days, monthly archives, and more.
The relationship field allows you to connect entries from one channel to another or even to other entries in the same channel. Since the Smart Number Field ExpressionEngine add-on is compatible with relationship fields, it allows you to store complex content in your channel entries. The Smart Number Field module is also compatible with the grid and fluid fields. The Grid field will enable you to group fieldtypes in repeatable rows.
