We are seeking a skilled and dedicated System Administrator – Hardware & Networking to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and securing our organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware systems. This role requires strong technical expertise in troubleshooting hardware and networking issues, ensuring system uptime, and providing seamless IT support to internal teams. The candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of implementing best practices to enhance system performance and reliability.

Job Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware.
  • Perform routine network monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across systems.
  • Provide first-level support for hardware, network, and connectivity issues.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connections.
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure timely upgrades/replacements.
  • Ensure timely installation of security patches and antivirus updates.
  • Configure and manage G-Suite/Gmail accounts for new and existing users.
  • Configure and support Time Champ application for employee usage and access.
  • Support IT infrastructure during internal or client project requirements.
  • Document processes, issues, and resolutions for future reference.
  • Escalate critical issues to senior IT staff or vendors when necessary.

Technical Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Understanding of LAN/WAN technologies, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Hands-on experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware (desktops, laptops, routers, switches, printers).
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and user management.
  • Proficiency in G-Suite/Gmail administration and configuration.
  • Experience with Time Champ configuration and troubleshooting for users.
  • Basic understanding of firewall management and network security.
  • Knowledge of backup and restore procedures.
  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS/Google Workspace) will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues effectively.
