Job Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing user interfaces using React JS and its ecosystem of libraries and tools.
  • Creating reusable and efficient React components that can be easily integrated across the application.
  • Managing application state using stateful React components, hooks, or state management libraries like Redux or MobX.
  • Integrating with backend APIs to fetch and send data asynchronously using tools like Axios or the built-in fetch API.
  • Implementing client-side routing using libraries like React Router to create a smooth and seamless user experience.
  • Styling React components using CSS, pre-processors like Sass or LESS, or CSS-in-JS libraries like styled-components or Emotion.
  • Writing unit tests and integration tests for React components using testing libraries like Jest and React Testing Library.
  • Identifying and implementing performance optimizations to ensure fast rendering and smooth user interactions.
  • Ensuring that the application is accessible to users with disabilities by following best practices and guidelines.
  • Working closely with designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features and products on time.
  • Writing clear and concise documentation for code, APIs, and project setup to facilitate collaboration and future maintenance.
  • Code Reviews: Participating in code reviews to provide feedback and ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Staying updated with the latest developments in React JS and frontend web development to continuously improve your skills and contribute to the team’s success.

Technical Skills Required

  • Proficiency in React JS: Strong understanding and hands-on experience with React JS and its core principles.
  • JavaScript: In-depth knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), including concepts like closures, promises, and asynchronous programming.
  • HTML/CSS: Proficiency in HTML and CSS for building and styling user interfaces.
  • State Management Libraries: Familiarity with state management libraries like Redux or MobX for managing complex application state.
  • API Integration: Experience in integrating frontend with backend APIs using RESTful services or GraphQL.
  • Version Control: Proficiency with version control systems like Git for code collaboration and management.
  • Responsive Design: Understanding of responsive design principles and experience in building mobile-friendly web applications.
  • Debugging and Testing: Ability to debug code effectively and write unit tests using testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library.
  • Frontend Build Tools: Familiarity with frontend build tools like Webpack, Babel, and npm/yarn for project setup and optimization.
