Where Structured Data, Images, and Business Information Fit

Structured data, visual content, and accurate business information can improve contextual clarity and search eligibility, but none of them independently guarantees visibility in Google AI Overviews or AI Mode.

They strengthen the website’s overall search foundation; they do not replace useful content, topical authority, or technical eligibility.

Where Does Structured Data Help?

Depending on the page, relevant schema may include:

No. Google does not require special AI schema, AEO markup, or GEO structured data for its generative AI search features.

Google advises website owners not to overfocus on AI-only files, forced content chunking, AI-specific rewriting, manufactured mentions, or special markup.

The lesson is not that AEO and GEO are meaningless. Effective AEO and GEO strategies improve technical eligibility, answer clarity, topical authority, entity signals, content reliability, and measurement. Shortcuts may make a strategy sound more advanced. They rarely make the website more useful-or more citation-worthy.
